59^th Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival (English)

The 59^th Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival (English) will begin soon. Please contact your English Language teacher or Miss Tessa Wong for further details.

*** To enter an event, hand in the completed entry form and appropriate entry fee (in cash) to your English Language teacher on or before 13th September. (LATE entry will NOT be considered)

*** Set pieces for solo verse competitions and prose reading competitions have been put on display in the library. They are there for your reference only. Please DON'T take them away from the library.

General Information:

l Entry fees:

Ø All solo events - $75

Ø Dramatic Duologue + all the team events - $150

Ø Entry fees are neither refundable nor transferable to other classes.

l Fill in all sections of the entry form. A separate entry form must be

used for each entry.

l Competitors taking part in more than one event should bear the risk of giving up one of the competitions in case of time clashes. No substitution or change of competitors will be allowed by the H.K. Schools Music and Speech Association.

l Other important dates:

Ø 30th October, 2007

Announcement of Festival timetable (I will inform your English teacher as soon as possible) .

Ø 30^th October to 6th November, 2007

Make all necessary alterations in these few days.

(Note - The Hong Kong Schools Music & Speech Association only accepts alteration for very rare cases ¡V Don¡¦t depend on it.)

Ø 19^th November ¡V 19^th December, 2007
