UPDATE: While F5 and F7 Classes are not required to participate in this competition, this is a compulsory event for S1-4 and F6 classes.
Aim
To enhance students' awareness towards environmental protection
Theme
Environmental Protection
- The lyrics should be written in English or Chinese (Putonghua).
- Class and song title should be included in the file name (e.g. 1G-SHCCschoolsong.doc).
- Please state the original name and singer of the song in the file.
- Foul language is strictly forbidden.
- The song should be about 5 minutes long.
- Standard manuscript format - Microsoft Word or PDF document
- Entries must be submitted through e-mail to greentorchshcc@hotmail.com
- Hard copy entries cannot be accepted.
Only work which conforms to all the guidelines will be considered.
No entries will be returned.

Judges
Green Torch Teacher Advisors and Green Torch committee members
Selection of Winners
Judging will be based on the following criteria:
- Work is original, insightful and brings out the theme of environmental protection.
- There is proper use of language including grammar and spelling.
- Instructions and guidelines are followed.
Notification of Winners
Winners will be listed on the Green Torch website in mid-November.
